Typing lessons →A one-minute typing test is a quick way to establish a repeatable WPM and accuracy baseline. Choose the 1 minute setting, start on your first keystroke, and compare future attempts under the same conditions.
Start a 1 minute test →Use a comfortable keyboard position and type naturally. The clock begins with your first keystroke, so you can get settled before starting. For meaningful comparisons, repeat tests using the same duration and focus on accuracy as well as speed.
Typing Toolkit reports WPM, accuracy and errors. Your recent results can be stored locally in this browser so you can compare attempts without creating an account. A higher WPM with poor accuracy is not automatically an improvement, so watch both measures together.
